Wonderful issue, hon... I really enjoyed it... the part about kingfishers was great, since I grew up on Kingfisher Place and those birds were on my mind a lot then... :)

I see the Kingfishers almost every day...they're always at the ponds I drive by and also hanging on wires close to the river. I love them. But then again...I'm a 'birder' and love all birds.

In the winter they're all down here. They love to sit on the wires above the canals that parallel so many roads in Florida.
