Empty

Once I was empty
like an earthen vase,
tormented by echoes
from dying flowers...

then you arrived
with the thunder of June
burning me with ruby fire,
reminding me that I'm alive.

Beautiful piece... so good to see you writing again... reading your work again is like taking a first breath after waiting so long.

    Once I arrived
    with the thunder of June
    burning with ruby fire,
tormented by echoes from dying flowers...but believing that I was alive.
Looking deeper i could see that
like an earthen vase, all was empty. My torment was but illusion. My fire ,only ego feeding upon dreams and desires.
    Beyond, beyond, far beyond, freedom.
