Another Monday

 

 

We've got overcast skies today.  Makes for laziness. I've been scanning the photos I need to repair this week into my digital program and tagging them with their delivery dates. Boring!

 

The County fair is here and it seems as if downtown is quiet. Not many cars on the streets. Dad just left to go to Fayetteville to drop off a negative at a photo lab to be printed into a 24 x 36 print. Its of a Preacher and his wife. He's retiring at 92 and the church he founded wants a portrait for the foyer. He's a very interesting man. He knew my great great Uncle Parnells who had a gosep group. Mainly banjos and guitars. They sang all over the county. I love hearing him talk about them. To be honest I don't know much about the Parnell side. So any story is welcomed.

 

Granny arrives today for an extended visit. I left some chores for her to do so she'll be happy. She's used to working around the house and hey, who am I to deprive her of that?? lol
